Pono For The People

Pono For The People is a non-partisan collective dedicated to a fair information exchange and helping navigate people’s political consciousness in Hawaiʻi.

Point Hawaiʻi designed and built the branding, website, graphic design and social media. Their most successful Instagram post had a reach of over a million users with 82,000 likes.

Our Kuleana Hawaiʻi

Our Kuleana is a community-based effort to mobilize Hawaiʻi island residents during critical times of need, initiated during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Point Hawaiʻi partnered with the ever talented Amy Kalili of Pilina First to execute this campaign.

Polu Gallery

Polu Gallery curates works from carefully-selected authors, artisans, illustrators, and designers whose works display a keen understanding and appreciation for Hawaii. Founded in 2016 by Jun Yoshimura, Co-Founder of The Green Room, Waikiki.

Point Hawaiʻi designed and built their English website as well as provided art direction for their Japanese site.   We also run their social media accounts as well as provide all visual collateral both print and digital for their various events and art exhibitions.

Community Submersibles

The Community Submersibles Project is fundamentally about making submersibles exploration accessible to all. Traditionally, these incredible vessels have only been available to government researchers and wealthy private owners.

Point Hawaiʻi designed their Kickstarter campaign as well as the corresponding social media collateral to promote it! We are proud to say that they were able to exceed their $25,000 goal in 45 days!

Hawaiʻi Camera

Hawaii Camera is the premiere camera rental retailer for the state of Hawaii.  It is their mission to inspire creativity, perpetuate memories and help their customers manifest their potential through the renting of photo, video, event and broadcast equipment.

Point Hawaiʻi provided graphic design for events and flyers leading up to the inaugural PhotoCon Hawaiʻi - which Hawaiʻi Camera sponsored.  We also revolutionized their social media be creating a chromatic reposting strategy which customer's loved.


Included:

Content Creation. 

  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).

  • Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).

  • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.

  • Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.

Analytics.

  • Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).

  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.

  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns.

  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
